Physical Features
The physical features in Goergia have important roles they must play. The Fall Line has many major Georgian cities located along it. The Okefenokee swamp is a major swamp in Georgia that contains fresh water. The Appalachian Mountains receives the most rainfall in Georgia. Without these mountains the state of Georgia would not have any fresh water. The Barrier islands play an impotance to Georgia also. They are called the Barrier Islands because they block Georgia from danger. The islands used to block Georgia from enemy countries. Today these islands block Georgia from hurricanes and storms. Georgia's riveres are also important. Without these rivers we would have no access to fresh water. These are how Georgia's physical features play an importance to the state.
