Parallel Structure
When you start a sentence with a present tense form you must end it the same way. This is called parallel structure.
Here are some examples
1. Joe likes swimming and biking.
2. Bob likes to run and to jog.
3. He went to fix the car and to buy lunch.
Here are some examples of nonparallel structure.
1. Joe likes to swim and biking.
2. Bob likes running and to jog.
3. He went to fix the car and buying lunch.
