Paleo People
The Paleo People first arrived in Georgia right after the Ice Age. They came using a land bridge called Beringia. It is estimated they arrived about 13,000 years ago. The Paleo people made use of their resources. Once the resources ran out in one area, they traveled to another area to use the resources there. They used their resources not only to live but to make sculptures with chipped stones and bones called clovis points. They never made their sites famous, but they are known today for the sculptures they made.
